Easy way to get high score in CAT

Your strategy to get high marks in AIRCAT / CAT is based on easy things. Sounds absurd, doesn't it? However, it is true. To understand CAT you must first understand how it is made. Who are the people who made it? What do you want to try? How is it possible that they select or create questions?

They definitely want to test some of your managerial skills. Otherwise, they could simply take your X-class grades in math and English as an indication of your ability. But instead they test you through CAT entrance exam! So start thinking like them.

Put yourself in the place of the CAT committee or any group of people who make up the test. Try to set up a 100-question essay. You don't want them to have the same level of difficulty. And they can't be on the same level even if you want them to. You will have between 25% and 35% questions each as Easy, Intermediate and Difficult (in relative terms). Of course, some changes are natural, but you get the idea. Correct?

So what does this mean for you as an aspirant? When all questions have the same score, hitting the easy questions advances you in the game. It's like hitting bad balls to set the boundary. But you must be aware of it and then use this knowledge wisely and within the stipulated time frame. This is essentially testing your managerial skills!

All questions in AIRCAT, etc. They usually show a specified level of Easy, Intermediate or Difficult based on past data from thousands of students who attempted those questions, the average time taken by them, and the accuracy they achieved on those questions.

(Something similar is likely to happen in any CAT online coaching or CAT test series you've attended.)

Picking and counting the easy ones is the easiest way to get a high score.

In the difficulty level analysis table, if your easy row shows a good number, you can't get it wrong in the exam.

So, go through your AIRCAT review and check your performance on easy questions (sectional and general) in all the tests. Improving that 75% will be required to excel in the CAT or similar exams through your CAT preparation.

Ask yourself: why haven't I tried to fix it? For each easy question you skipped and then work on improving it in the next AIRCAT / CAT drill.

The best way to get a high CAT score is not necessarily that difficult.

Do it right and you won't go wrong! yes it's that easy
